Conservative voices on Fox News are warning President Trump a massive scandal won’t simply fade away — and avoiding it could backfire with his most loyal supporters.
During Sunday morning’s Fox & Friends Weekend, co-hosts Kevin Corke, Charles Hurt, and Rachel Campos-Duffy took aim at the rising frustration within the MAGA movement after President Trump took to Truth Social to defend Attorney General Pam Bondi — and scold his own base for their continued focus on the unresolved Epstein scandal.
“What’s going on with my ‘boys’ and ‘gals’?” Trump wrote. “They’re going after Pam Bondi, who’s doing a FANTASTIC JOB! We’re on the same team — MAGA — and people are hurting our movement over a guy who never dies: Jeffrey Epstein.”
MAGA Supporters Demand Answers
But Fox News hosts didn’t hold back. Veteran commentator Charles Hurt emphasized that ignoring the Epstein issue isn’t a winning strategy.
“If anyone could close the book on this Epstein scandal, it’s President Trump,” Hurt said. “But that requires transparency. Americans still have valid questions.”
Kevin Corke warned the story could spiral if not addressed directly, describing it as a “ticking time bomb.”
“You can defuse this if you face the issue head-on,” Corke said. “Interview DOJ officials. Show the American people this isn’t a cover-up. That’s how you restore confidence.”
Fox News Calls for Transparency
Corke didn’t mince words. He questioned how authorities could claim there are no leads — despite years of reports, testimonies, and alleged videos from Epstein’s island and other properties.
“You’re telling us hundreds, maybe thousands, were hurt — and there’s no one to arrest? No names? No charges? The public doesn’t buy it,” Corke stated. “Talk to every name linked to Epstein’s flights and properties. Get the truth out. The American people deserve it.”
The Risk of Losing Trust
Campos-Duffy reminded viewers that Trump’s base isn’t trying to undermine him — they simply want answers about Epstein’s long-running child trafficking network and the apparent lack of justice.
“Trump’s supporters are loyal,” she said. “But they’re also awake. They want simple answers — and they’re not going to stop asking.”
⚠️ Why This Matters for 2024 and Beyond
With the election looming, conservative voters are demanding clarity. The Epstein scandal is no longer a fringe concern — it’s become a symbol of deep government corruption, elite protection, and media silence. If the Trump administration doesn’t lead on this issue, the MAGA base may start looking for someone who will.
