Fox News Calls Trump A Coward?

Fox is once again proving that they don’t support Donald Trump.

In a recent discussion on conservative radio, Fox News anchor Bret Baier suggested that the main barrier to a second debate between former President Trump and Vice President Harris is Trump himself, not the Harris campaign or the network. Baier speculated that while the Harris team might be willing to engage in a debate hosted by Fox News, Trump seems hesitant to participate.

Baier shared his thoughts, saying, “I believe the Harris campaign would step up for a Fox debate, but the real hold-up is Trump’s reluctance.” He likened the situation to a “bug zapper,” implying that Trump would be drawn to the significant audience that a Fox debate would attract, given the channel’s popularity among conservative viewers.

Despite Trump’s previous openness to debating on Fox—where hosts typically express strong support for him—Baier conveyed a growing sense that Trump’s campaign is not progressing towards scheduling a second debate. Recently, Trump rejected an invitation from CNN for a second debate next month, arguing that early voting is already underway in several states.

Harris, meanwhile, has been actively engaging in the debate landscape, having participated in a recent debate hosted by ABC News, which some analysts perceived as a win for her. However, her acceptance of a CNN debate invitation raises questions about her willingness to engage with a network that often critiques her and the Biden administration’s policies.

Political commentators suggest that Harris may avoid a Fox-hosted debate due to the network’s consistent scrutiny of her positions. As the election approaches, the dynamics between these two candidates will be crucial, particularly as they navigate the ever-evolving media landscape.
