Hillary’s Lies Caught On Camera

Hillary Clinton is such a hypocrite.

Former First Lady and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton sparked renewed controversy this week after posting a decades-old photograph that critics say contradicts her long-held public stance on cultural and political issues.

Clinton welcomed the New Year by sharing a throwback family photo from January 1994, showing herself skiing with former President Bill Clinton and their daughter Chelsea at Camp David.

“It’s going to be a great year for defending democracy,” Clinton wrote in the post. “Let’s go!”

However, sharp-eyed observers quickly noticed a detail that reignited debate: Clinton is clearly wearing gloves featuring the Washington Redskins logo.

Past Actions Clash With Later Activism

Years later, Clinton became one of the most prominent political voices calling for the NFL team to abandon the Redskins name. In a 2014 interview, she described the name as “insensitive” and urged the franchise to consider a replacement, aligning herself with progressive activists pushing for cultural changes across sports and media.

That same year, dozens of Democratic lawmakers formally asked NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell to intervene. At the time, the league declined, and the team retained its historic name through the 2019 season.

Under mounting political and corporate pressure in 2020, the organization eventually dropped the Redskins name. After operating temporarily as the Washington Football Team, the franchise officially rebranded as the Washington Commanders in 2022.

Social Media Reaction Highlights Double Standards

Clinton’s New Year post quickly drew widespread attention on X, particularly after users noticed that replies to the post had been restricted.

One user described the image as a perfect example of political “virtue signaling” being exposed by history. Another commented that the gloves alone undermined years of carefully crafted messaging.

Former Major League Baseball pitcher Brad Ziegler also weighed in, describing Clinton’s decision to share the image as “interesting,” a remark that many interpreted as a polite acknowledgment of the contradiction.

Adding to the irony, the photo dates back to a low point in Washington football history. The team finished the 1993 season with a 4–12 record and failed to place a single player in the Pro Bowl for the first time in franchise history.

Trump Weighs In as Team Struggles On the Field

President Donald Trump has repeatedly criticized the name change, arguing that the Redskins identity was abandoned due to political pressure rather than public demand. Trump has suggested restoring the original name, citing tradition and fan loyalty.

As of January 2026, however, there is no indication the organization plans to reverse course.

Meanwhile, the Commanders face far more pressing concerns than branding. Injuries, defensive struggles, and inconsistent play have contributed to yet another disappointing season. Washington enters its season finale against the Philadelphia Eagles with a 4–12 record, marking its seventh losing season in nine years.

The team is projected to select No. 7 overall in the 2026 NFL Draft and has not returned to the Super Bowl since defeating the Buffalo Bills in January 1992.

Why This Matters to Voters

For many Americans—particularly longtime sports fans and voters who value consistency—Clinton’s post serves as a reminder that public figures are often judged not by slogans, but by their own documented history.

In an era where political narratives shift quickly, old photos still have a way of telling stories that scripted messaging cannot erase.
