It finally happened!
Democrats have always wanted this and now they have it. New York City lawmakers just passed a new bill which gives noncitizens such as illegal aliens the right to vote in municipal elections.
Currently there are more than 800,000 people in New York who hold green cards or are fully illegal.
New York Republicans are completely outraged by the move and Democrat Mayor Bill de Blasio said in the past he would NOT veto the bill if they pass it.
According to the Washington Times, Councilman Francisco Moya cried as he explained just how happy he was that this bill passed, “This is for my beautiful mother who will be able to vote for her son,” Moya stated.
Republican Senator Tom Cotton immediately spoke out following the historic new bill:
Allowing non-citizens—including illegal immigrants—to vote in our elections is an attack on our sovereignty.
New York City’s voting law is an insult to every American citizen.
