Some bombshell accusations have be made according to a new book.
Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump have reportedly avoided issuing a public statement denying accusations of antisemitism directed at former President Donald Trump during the 2024 presidential campaign, according to Michael Wolff’s new book All or Nothing. The Trump family has faced recurring criticism regarding these allegations, particularly with President Trump’s comments and actions involving Jews and Israel, despite his long history of advocating for pro-Israel policies.
Jared Kushner, who is Jewish, and Ivanka, who converted to Judaism before their marriage, have been central figures in Trump’s administration, with Jared notably playing a key role in brokering the Abraham Accords, which facilitated peace agreements between Israel and several Arab nations. Despite these accomplishments, President Trump has been accused of making antisemitic remarks in the past and of alienating Jewish voters, particularly those who did not support his political agenda.
During the 2024 campaign, reports suggest that the Trump campaign sought a statement from the Kushners distancing the president from the antisemitism accusations. However, both Jared and Ivanka reportedly refused to get involved. Wolff claims that Kushner declined to issue a formal endorsement and, when asked to declare that Trump was not antisemitic, responded that he and Ivanka would not “put their names on something” or “get in the middle of things.” This decision has raised questions about the Kushners’ relationship with the president, especially considering the key role Jared played in advancing Trump’s Middle East policy.
Wolff also highlights tensions between President Trump and Kushner, particularly over the lack of support from Jewish voters despite the president’s pro-Israel initiatives. Some of Trump’s critics have suggested that his rhetoric, including his comments on Jewish disloyalty, has fueled division within the Jewish community.
While Wolff’s book may stir controversy, some Republican figures, including Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders, have discredited Wolff’s previous work as full of inaccuracies, pointing to his past books as evidence of his unreliable sources. As of now, both Jared and Ivanka have distanced themselves from direct involvement in the 2024 campaign but have continued to show public support for President Trump.
This story illustrates the ongoing struggle within the Republican Party to reconcile its support for Israel with the contentious remarks from some of its members. While the Trump family has largely avoided engaging in the debate over accusations of antisemitism, it remains a topic that continues to stir division in the broader political discourse.
