Is this corruption?
It has now been learned that a federal judge has just dropped five former FBI officials from a lawsuit that former President Donald Trump brought upon them.
Trump’s lawsuit claimed that several individuals conspired against him to sabotage his 2016 presidential run by claiming that he was colluding with Russia.
According to The Hill, U.S. District Judge Donald Middlebrooks let very controversial figures such as former FBI Director James Comey, former Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, former counterintelligence official Peter Strzok and former FBI lawyers Lisa Page and Kevin Clinesmith off the hook.
Biden’s Department of Justice was able to successfully convince Judge Middlebrooks that these former officials such as Comey and others were simply following their duties.
Trump and his attorney are likely very unhappy about this new decision.
When Trump brought the lawsuit forward against these individuals he claimed that they “maliciously conspired to weave a false narrative” that said he was working with Russia who was a “hostile foreign sovereignty.”
While the lawsuit still hasn’t been settled, Conservatives are very unhappy to see people like Comey, McCabe, Strzok and more get let off the hook.
