This was so insane of her to say.
None other than Vice President Kamala Harris recently decided to come out and boldly say that “nobody should have to go to jail for smoking weed,” even though she was notorious for putting small time marijuana offenders in jail.
Kamala Harris was so notorious when she was a district attorney in California that the jailed more than 2000 people for marijuana related crimes.
According to Fox News, Kamala’s comments came during a speech in Austin, Texas, where she talked about Biden’s decision to free small time drug offenders and said, “We are also changing, y’all might have heard that this week, the federal government’s approach to marijuana.”
Kamala later said, “Because the bottom line there is: Nobody should have to go to jail for smoking weed.”
When she was a San Francisco district attorney however Kamala Harris place almost 2000 people in jail for marijuana related crimes. Kamala put all of those people in jail even though she admitted to smoking marijuana herself and at one point said, “Half my family’s from Jamaica. Are you kidding me?”
