This is big!
It now appears that Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell’s days in Congress are officially numbered and Republicans who stand with former President Donald Trump want him out.
According to Axios, Republicans have had enough of McConnell who keeps handing the Democrats and President Biden the major victories they have needed to pass trillions of dollars worth of spending and endangering the U.S. economy.
McConnell is currently the most powerful Republican in Congress and has impacted the Republican Party in America for over a decade.
Former President Donald Trump who was frustrated with McConnell referred to him as a “Broken Old Crow” and claimed that he was “hurting the Republican Senators and the Republican Party. When will they vote him out of Leadership?”
Now, it looks like Trump’s demands have paid off. Kelly Tshibaka, who is challenging Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) for seat, denounced McConnell and said, “when I defeat Murkowski and become Alaska’s next U.S. senator, I will not support Mitch McConnell as leader.”
“It’s time for new, America First leadership in the Senate,” she further noted.
