It now appears that another far-left Democrat, similar to Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, is gaining momentum in Pennsylvania and she is backed by both Sens. Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren.
According to Fox, Pennsylvania state Rep. Summer Lee is running to replace retiring Rep. Mike Doyle who has been on Congress since 1995.
Lee has openly stood behind many socialist policies such as the redistribution of wealth and ever as far abolishing prisons all together.
In 2020 Lee tweeted, “Instead of ‘thanking’ Black women, Black voters, and especially, Black organizers… give us the investments we need and deserve, redistribute wealth, ends police violence, abolish the carceral state, commit to building Black directed political power… and reparations.”

Lee’s very far left thinking is forcing Americans to compare her to Ocasio-Cortez. If Lee get voted into Congress she would become yet another member of “the squad” which is a far-left group aiming to radically change America. If members like Lee, Ocasio-Cortez and more continue to join the Democratic party, pretty soon there won’t be a moderate Democrat left in Washington.
