This was very unexpected.
Likely NFL hall of famer and star quarterback Aaron Rodgers has been making more news off the football field rather than on it this year.
According to The Spun, Rodgers recently made several media appearances and two which caused a political stir. Firstly, Rodgers attempted the Joe Rogan Podcast where he made several controversial comments which angered liberals.
Then, during his appearance on Bill Maher’s “Club Random” podcast, Rodger slammed former President Donald Trump where he blatantly told Trump to accept his 2020 presidential loss like a man.
Rodgers told Bill Maher, “You take it like a man. You don’t go, ‘We won that game’ That’s what Donald Trump does. We won that game. You didn’t. You lose it. It happens. You lose sometimes. Be a f**king man and just own up like every other president has ever done.”
Rodgers also said that while he is pro-life, he does not support the Supreme Court’s decision regarding Roe.
Rodgers said, “As much as I might lean pro-life, I don’t want the government to tell me I can’t smoke a cigar, I can’t have a drink of alcohol, I can’t choose my own medical decisions. And if I’m a woman, don’t f**king tell me what do.”
“The government should not have a decision that infringes upon my own personal freedoms,” Rodgers added.
