Ocasio-Cortez Has A Mental Breakdown

The Democrat party is divided like never before over this major issue and it’s bleeding over into CNN who is known for supporting the far-left.

Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, a Democrat from New York, strongly criticized a CNN analyst for his derogatory remarks about her fellow “squad” member, Democrat Representative Ilhan Omar from Minnesota, branding her as a “public relations agent for Hamas.” Ocasio-Cortez expressed her dismay at the apparent acceptance of such blatant Islamophobia without significant pushback, deeming it shocking.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, Ocasio-Cortez’s remarks were prompted by a segment on CNN’s “NewsNight” featuring Republican strategist Scott Jennings. Jennings had expressed surprise at the existence of what he termed a “public relations agent for Hamas” within the United States Congress, referring to Omar during an earlier interview.

The comments drew swift condemnation from other members of the “squad,” with Representative Cori Bush from Missouri likening Jennings’ rhetoric to the anti-Muslim bigotry prevalent in the post-9/11 era. She emphasized the need to denounce such hateful and dangerous Islamophobia, urging CNN to take immediate action.

Representative Ayanna Pressley echoed similar sentiments, asserting that blatant Islamophobia has no place in society, especially on primetime television. She emphasized the danger of normalizing such rhetoric.

Representative Jamaal Bowman from New York went further, denouncing Jennings’ remarks as both racist and Islamophobic. He emphasized the dangerous impact such comments have in fueling hate crimes against Muslims and called for CNN to refrain from inviting Jennings back on air.

Jennings’ comments came in the wake of an interview with Representative Omar, during which she discussed Israel’s absence from negotiations in Egypt regarding a cease-fire. Omar pointed out that Israel’s refusal to participate hindered progress toward a resolution, highlighting the complexities involved in achieving a cease-fire agreement.
