This is not good.
New York’s Democrat Lt. Governor Brian Benjamin was just arrested after several discoveries were made during a federal corruption investigation.
According to NBC, Brian Benjamin was forced to turn himself in after he was discovered of committing a past campaign finance fraud scheme while he was running to be the city comptroller.
Benjamin will now have to appear in in Manhattan federal court for his crimes. What’s worse is New York Governor Kathy Hochul’s office has remaining completely silent on the arrest.
Benjamin is facing a long list of charges including bribery, fraud, conspiracy and falsification of records.
