The left wing media has gone insane.
Rachel Maddow delivered a sweeping criticism of President Donald Trump during a weekend television appearance, comparing his vision for the United States to Russia and accusing him of wanting to govern the country like a king.
The striking comments came Saturday during a special edition of MS NOW’s “State of Play,” as Maddow discussed Trump, the White House and the administration’s escalating dispute with several major news organizations.
Maddow began by criticizing changes Trump has made to the White House, arguing that a president should view the historic property differently from a private residence.
She compared the situation to someone renting an apartment or duplex, saying a tenant would not permanently alter the property or tear down part of the structure simply because they happened to be living there.

“He wants this to be a country like Russia,” Maddow said.
She followed that statement by claiming Trump wants the United States to become a country “in which he is a king.”
