VIDEO: New RNC Leader Endorses Biden?

Here’s what happened…

Recently appointed Chair of the Republican National Committee (RNC), Michael Whatley, found himself in a verbal stumble during a Fox News appearance last Friday. In an attempt to assert that the country’s condition has worsened under President Biden compared to the tenure of former President Trump, Whatley inadvertently claimed the opposite.

Seeking to draw a sharp contrast between the leadership of Trump and Biden, Whatley posed the question, “Were you better off four years ago than you are today?” However, he faltered in his delivery, initially stating that the nation was not better off before correcting himself.

Since assuming leadership just a week ago, Whatley has initiated a significant overhaul within the party, resulting in the dismissal of over 60 individuals, including senior staff members. This restructuring coincides with Trump securing the party’s nomination for the upcoming general election, signaling a forthcoming transformation within the party as it prepares to challenge President Biden’s administration.

Explaining the rationale behind the dismissals, Whatley described it as a realignment of the committee’s focus to align with the presumptive nominee. This move underscores the party’s commitment to synchronize its campaign efforts with Trump’s agenda.

A pressing concern facing the RNC is the issue of funding Trump’s mounting legal expenses. With the former president facing substantial fines and a slew of felony charges, totaling 91 across four indictments, the financial burden looms large.

In a strategic move, Lara Trump, Trump’s daughter-in-law, was elected as co-chair of the RNC alongside Whatley. Previously expressing unwavering support for her father-in-law’s reelection bid, Lara Trump’s involvement raises questions about the extent to which the RNC will allocate resources to support Trump’s legal battles.
