Schiff continues to spread lies.
California Senator Adam Schiff (D), one of President Trump’s loudest critics, is once again making headlines—this time for accusing the president of enjoying the chaos erupting on California’s streets.
Speaking at a press conference in Los Angeles on Monday, Schiff alleged that President Trump is “happy” about the massive protests that broke out in response to federal immigration enforcement actions.
“This kind of deliberate provocation is only making things worse,” Schiff said. “But the president doesn’t care—he’s more than happy to see violent protests.”
Over the weekend, thousands of protesters flooded the streets of Los Angeles, opposing coordinated ICE workplace raids targeting illegal immigrants employed across Southern California. The raids, which began Friday, were part of President Trump’s broader strategy to restore law and order and protect American jobs.
In response to the unrest, the White House authorized the deployment of National Guard troops and U.S. Marines to assist law enforcement and protect federal immigration officers, despite vocal opposition from California Governor Gavin Newsom (D).
While Democrats condemned the show of force, many Americans praised the move as a necessary step to reestablish safety, secure the border, and support federal agents under fire.
Schiff’s Real Concern? Trump’s Popular “One Big Beautiful Bill Act”
Schiff didn’t stop at attacking Trump over immigration. He also suggested the president was using the crisis to draw attention away from his signature economic package—the “One Big Beautiful Bill Act.”
The proposal, which recently passed the Republican-controlled House, includes historic tax cuts, spending reform, and pro-growth measures aimed at reducing the deficit and returning power to American families and businesses.
“It’s a distraction,” Schiff claimed. “This bill is going to blow a hole in the deficit and take away healthcare.”
However, conservatives see the legislation as a bold solution to runaway federal spending, bloated bureaucracies, and a healthcare system burdened by government overreach. Trump’s supporters argue the bill reflects his America First agenda—defending borders, cutting taxes, and putting working-class citizens before illegal immigrants.
A Familiar Pattern: Accuse, Distract, Delay
To many on the Right, Schiff’s comments are just more political grandstanding—another attempt to stir fear, distract from real reform, and score headlines in an election season. While President Trump focuses on securing the nation and rebuilding the economy, Schiff and his allies appear more concerned with undermining his progress.
As the Senate prepares to take up the “One Big Beautiful Bill Act,” Americans will once again face a clear choice: a return to law and order and economic prosperity, or more obstruction, open borders, and government overreach.
