Pelosi’s Moronic Attack On Trump

Pelosi will say anything, won’t she?

In a move drawing sharp criticism from the left, President Donald Trump deployed the National Guard to Los Angeles to curb growing unrest tied to recent ICE operations. But instead of supporting law and order, former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) lashed out—accusing Trump of hypocrisy over his actions during the January 6 Capitol riot.

Pelosi Criticizes Trump’s Law-and-Order Response

Speaking to reporters Tuesday, Pelosi claimed, “On January 6… we begged the president to send in the National Guard. He would not do it.”

But Trump supporters say Pelosi’s attack is more political theater. The former president has long said he did offer the National Guard to secure the Capitol—claims supported by multiple officials who blamed delays on local D.C. leaders and congressional security officials.

So why the outrage now, when Trump takes decisive action to stop violence in Los Angeles?

Democrat Leaders Oppose Guard Deployment—As Violence Escalates

California Governor Gavin Newsom and L.A. Mayor Karen Bass both opposed the National Guard deployment, warning it might “inflame tensions.” But for many conservatives, that response is all too familiar—Democrats putting politics above public safety.

The Biden administration stood by as protests endangered federal buildings and law enforcement officers. Trump acted instead. And now the Pentagon has even sent Marines to the area, reinforcing fears that California leadership is unable—or unwilling—to restore order.

Media Pushes Jan. 6 Narrative—Again

Legacy media outlets have reignited their January 6 coverage, continuing to blame Trump for the Capitol unrest. They accuse him of spreading “false election claims” and “inciting violence.” But once again, critical facts get buried.

Acting Defense Secretary Christopher Miller testified in 2022 that Trump never issued a formal order to block National Guard support—but neither did Pelosi ensure that Congress was adequately protected. In fact, Pelosi was caught on video—filmed by her own daughter—admitting she failed to push for stronger security before the riot.

“I take responsibility for not having them just prepare for more,” Pelosi said.

Double Standard? Pardons vs. Protest Crackdowns

Pelosi is also blasting Trump’s vow to pardon some of the January 6 defendants, saying, “He forgave those people… and yet he sends the National Guard into California.”

But critics ask: where was Pelosi’s concern when law enforcement officers were being injured in cities overrun by violent protests in 2020 and beyond? Why is Trump condemned for acting in defense of federal property—while those who burned cities are often treated as “peaceful protesters”?

Conservatives See Democrat Hypocrisy on Full Display

Pelosi’s comments reflect what many conservatives view as a double standard: President Trump is criticized when he acts, and accused when he doesn’t—no matter the facts. Meanwhile, Democrat leaders oppose law enforcement efforts but take no responsibility when chaos unfolds.

At a time when American cities are plagued by crime, illegal immigration, and political violence, many older voters see Trump’s firm hand as a return to common sense.
