In a move that should have happened long ago, Republican House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy announced that Republicans will boot House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) from the House Intelligence Committee if they take majority in the upcoming midterm elections.
Many political experts already strongly believe that the upcoming midterms will be a massive red wave this year.
According to The Hill, during a recent press conference McCarthy accused Schiff of politicizing the committee while also lying about intelligence regarding his President Biden’s son Hunter Biden.
“Why is he still chair of the committee and why is he still even on the committee? In a new Congress, if it’s a new majority, he will not be,” McCarthy stated.
“You cannot make this committee political, you cannot use it as a position of chairman to lie, and you should be focused on what the American people want you to be focused on around the world,” McCarthy explained.
