Trump is not playing games with radical Democrats.
President Donald J. Trump blasted Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) on Thursday, accusing him of making “almost treasonous” remarks after the Democrat mocked Trump’s highly successful Asia trade mission.
“I worked around the clock, brought in trillions for America, and yet Chuck Schumer calls the trip a ‘total dud’ — even though he knows it was an incredible success. Comments like that border on treason,” President Trump posted on Truth Social while flying back to Washington on Air Force One.
Schumer Attacks Trump’s Foreign Policy Wins
During a fiery Senate speech Wednesday, Schumer accused the 45th President of “gallivanting around Asia” while the government shutdown entered its almost 30th day. The New York Democrat mocked Trump’s efforts to restore America’s trade dominance, sneering that the President was “dancing in Malaysia” instead of “doing his job.”
Schumer further claimed that Trump’s meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping was little more than a “photo op,” alleging the President was “giving away vital national security tools” and “selling out the American people.”
“President Trump is getting ready to pat himself on the back for fixing a problem of his own making,” Schumer remarked, calling the trip “a complete failure.”
Trump’s Asia Tour Produces Major Economic Wins
But the results from Trump’s trip tell a different story. The President’s America-First trade tour included key stops in Malaysia, Japan, and South Korea, nations directly affected by his tough but effective tariff policies.
While abroad, President Trump finalized a historic $350 billion investment deal with South Korea that will lower tariffs and bring more American jobs back home. He also met Japan’s new Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi and held a high-stakes summit with China’s Xi Jinping.
The summit produced real results: China agreed to resume large-scale U.S. soybean purchases and to delay restrictions on rare earth minerals for a full year. In return, Trump pledged to ease certain tariffs on Chinese imports, protecting both American farmers and manufacturers.
“On a scale of one to ten, I’d call it a twelve,” Trump told reporters confidently. “This was a big win for American workers and for the future of our country.”
Patriots Rally Behind Trump
Across social media, conservative commentators praised Trump’s leadership and slammed Schumer for his remarks. Many called the Democrat’s comments “reckless,” “disrespectful,” and “borderline un-American.”
Supporters say Schumer’s outburst shows just how desperate the Democrat establishment has become as Trump continues to deliver where career politicians have failed — bringing back jobs, rebuilding alliances, and standing up to China, Japan, and global elites.
“While Schumer insults our President, Trump is out there fighting for American workers,” one conservative analyst said. “That’s the difference between leadership and political games.”
As the 2024 election cycle heats up, Trump’s success overseas could become another major boost to his momentum — and another reminder to voters why America First continues to win.
