Top Democrat Sides With Trump’s ICE

A top Democrat just backed Trump’s immigration crackdown—and conservatives are taking notice.

New York City Mayor Eric Adams, a Democrat, is sounding more like President Trump after more than 80 radical protesters were arrested during violent anti-ICE demonstrations in Manhattan this week.

In a striking rebuke of far-left agitators, Adams warned that he won’t let “professional anarchists” destroy New York or threaten law-abiding citizens. Speaking to Newsmax host Greta Van Susteren, Adams exposed the coordinated nature of these protests.

“Groups like Antifa are traveling the country to provoke police, spark unrest, and spread disorder. We identify them quickly and remove them,” Adams said. “We won’t allow chaos to take over.”

Adams Defends ICE, Blasts Outside Agitators

While many Democrat leaders shy away from supporting Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Adams stood firm—saying the NYPD and ICE are working together to maintain law and order.

“We will allow peaceful protest,” Adams said, “but we will not allow you to destroy our city or harm innocent people. We will take action whenever that takes place.”

He also pointed the finger at outside agitators, echoing President Trump’s long-standing warning that many leftist riots are orchestrated by out-of-state radicals.

Columbia University Protests: A Preview of the Agenda

Adams recalled how radical leftists infiltrated Columbia University, distributing leaflets filled with anti-American and anti-Semitic propaganda.

“Some of the pamphlets said hateful things about America, Israel, and the Jewish people,” Adams said. “We took action when they broke into a dorm—and many of them weren’t even from New York.”

According to Adams, those same professional protestors are behind the latest wave of destruction—intent on disrupting ICE operations and spreading hatred on college campuses.

Law and Order Message Resonates with Voters

Mayor Adams’ tough talk is striking a chord—especially among voters 50 and older who lived through safer, more stable times. With Democrat cities plagued by soft-on-crime policies, Adams is charting a different course.

While not aligned with President Trump on every issue, Adams appears to agree on this: America needs borders, law enforcement, and accountability.

As President Trump continues to fight for secure borders and crack down on illegal immigration, even some Democrats are beginning to admit—he was right all along.
