This is going to get ugly.

Former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows is now throwing former President Donald Trump under the bus and will provide the Jan. 6 committee with the records they have demanded from key members in the Trump administration. Meadows is also now fully expected to testify before the Jan. 6 committee as well.

According to Fox, it appears that Meadows has decided to comply with the Jan. 6 committee after they went ahead and moved to indict former White House official Stephen Bannon for refusing to cooperate with them.

January 6th Committee Chairman Bennie G. Thompson shocked Republicans when he announced that Meadows has been “engaging” the committee.

Thompson stated, “He has produced records to the committee and will soon appear for an initial deposition. The Select Committee expects all witnesses, including Mr. Meadows, to provide all information requested and that the Select Committee is lawfully entitled to receive.”

“The committee will continue to assess his degree of compliance with our subpoena after the deposition,” he further noted.

Many Republicans believe the Jan. 6 committee’s true intentions are to destroy former President Trump’s 2024 presidential run to keep Trump from becoming the president once again.
