Trump To Officially Ban The Mainstream Media?

You won’t believe this!

Donald Trump Jr., the eldest son of former President Donald Trump, has revealed that his father has discussed potentially barring certain mainstream media outlets from the White House press briefing room. In a recent episode of his podcast, Trump Jr. shared that they have considered expanding access to the press room by inviting more independent journalists and social media influencers, rather than giving preferential treatment to legacy outlets.

“We’ve talked about opening up the press room to include independent voices, people who aren’t tied to the traditional, biased media,” Trump Jr. explained. “Why should outlets like The New York Times, which has repeatedly spread false narratives and pushed a left-wing agenda, get all the access? Why not let journalists with larger followings, who are trusted by real Americans, have a seat at the table?”

Trump Jr.’s comments reflect a growing frustration within conservative circles about the mainstream media’s perceived liberal bias and its tendency to push narratives that undermine conservative values. He pointed to The New York Times’ record of publishing misleading stories, including one that recently targeted senior Trump aide Boris Epshteyn. According to Trump Jr., this is just another example of how the media often acts as a mouthpiece for the Democratic Party rather than holding power to account.

Former President Trump has long criticized mainstream media outlets for what he calls their “fake news” coverage. He has regularly lashed out at networks like CNN and publications like The New York Times for their negative portrayals of his administration and for their hostile coverage of conservative policies. Trump Jr.’s remarks only add to the ongoing conversation about the need for a more diverse and fair representation of the American public in the media. As he sees it, opening up the press briefing room to independent voices would be a step in the right direction.
