Trump Kicks Celebrity Out Of Mar-a-Lago?

Online rumors have been flying, but the truth appears far less dramatic than social media headlines suggest.

Claims that President Donald Trump personally intervened to remove a celebrity from his iconic Palm Beach club, Mar-a-Lago, are now being firmly denied by those involved.

Rumors Spark After Netflix Reality Show

The speculation centers on Rosalyn Yellin, a cast member on Netflix’s new reality series Members Only: Palm Beach.

After the show premiered, online gossip suggested Mar-a-Lago members were preparing a letter demanding Yellin’s membership be revoked. According to Yellin, none of that is true.

She says the claims are exaggerated, misleading, and designed to stir controversy rather than reflect reality.

“The Story Is Being Twisted”

Yellin explained that Mar-a-Lago is not a focal point of the show and is mentioned only briefly in passing.

She emphasized that she does not discuss private club matters, reveal confidential details, or speak about other members—something she says is taken very seriously in Palm Beach social circles.

“I don’t invade anyone’s privacy. I don’t talk about the people there. I don’t share anything that shouldn’t be shared,” Yellin said.

Longstanding Support for Charitable Causes

Yellin also pushed back against what she called an attempt to turn positive work into something negative.

She noted that she has hosted charity events at Mar-a-Lago focused on:

  • Helping victims of human trafficking
  • Supporting foster children aging out of the system
  • Assisting cancer patients
  • Honoring U.S. military veterans

“To take something good and turn it into something ugly is simply wrong,” she said.

Respectful Encounters With President Trump

Far from being “kicked out,” Yellin says her interactions at Mar-a-Lago have always been respectful—including encounters with President Trump himself.

She previously shared a photo taken at Mar-a-Lago during a holiday celebration, calling it an honor to be in the same room as a sitting president.

“He’s the president of the United States. That’s an honor—no matter who you are,” Yellin said.

Cast Members Describe Trump as Approachable

Other cast members echoed similar sentiments, describing Trump as friendly and personable during years of casual encounters at Mar-a-Lago—many long before his political career.

  • Taja Abitbol said her family’s connection to Trump dates back decades in New York.
  • Abitbol’s partner, former Yankees pitcher David Cone, has reportedly spent time golfing with Trump over the years.
  • Hilary Musser described Trump as “super friendly” and said he often greeted members personally.

Musser added that she most recently saw Trump at a New Year’s Eve event while he was hosting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Discretion Still Rules in Palm Beach

According to those familiar with Palm Beach society, discretion—not fame—is what matters most.

Musser explained that people who gossip or seek attention don’t last long socially, while those who respect privacy are welcomed.

“Nobody wants to invite you back if you talk too much,” she said.

So Was Anyone Kicked Out?

Despite the online buzz, there is no evidence President Trump removed anyone from Mar-a-Lago.

Those closest to the situation say the rumors reflect the modern media cycle more than reality—and that Mar-a-Lago continues to operate exactly as it always has.

Members Only: Palm Beach premiered on Netflix on December 29, 2025, offering viewers a glimpse into elite Palm Beach life—but despite the hype, Mar-a-Lago itself appears unchanged.
