Here’s Trump’s master plan.
On Wednesday, President Donald Trump took decisive action to protect children from radical indoctrination in the classroom. With the signing of a new executive order, Trump aims to prevent taxpayer-funded schools from teaching divisive and harmful ideologies like Critical Race Theory (CRT) and gender theory.
“Parents send their children to school with the expectation that they will receive a strong, high-quality education that prepares them for the future, and that teaches them to love their country and its founding principles,” President Trump stated in the executive order. “Yet, over the past few years, many have watched in horror as schools have become breeding grounds for anti-American ideas, all while silencing parents’ ability to have a voice in what their children are being taught.”
The executive order specifically targets schools that promote CRT, which teaches that individuals are defined primarily by their race and assigns guilt or victimhood based on skin color. Trump emphasized that this ideology divides children into groups of “oppressors” and “victims,” making them believe that their worth is determined by race and immutable characteristics, rather than their character or abilities. “This promotes racial division and undermines national unity,” Trump said.
Furthermore, the order addresses the growing trend of schools pushing transgenderism on young children, including the use of gender-neutral pronouns and encouraging minors to question their biological sex. Trump warned that these practices can lead to irreversible medical decisions, such as gender-altering surgeries and hormone treatments, all without parental consent.
“Children should never be subjected to medical treatments or ideological agendas without their parents’ knowledge or permission,” Trump said. “These practices damage the foundation of family and individual identity, creating confusion and division.”
The order directs federal agencies to review and eliminate funding for schools and programs that promote these radical ideas. It also calls on the Department of Justice to take legal action against any educators or school officials who facilitate the gender transition of minors without parental involvement.
This executive action aligns with similar laws in states like Florida and Virginia, where governors have taken steps to safeguard children from radical lessons on race and gender. Trump’s order signals a strong commitment to protect parental rights and ensure that schools remain a place for balanced, thoughtful education rather than political indoctrination.
Under this directive, the administration will work with federal and state officials to end funding for training, teaching, and administrative programs that encourage divisive ideologies in schools, making it clear that the rights of parents and students come first. Trump has also called for a comprehensive strategy to combat the rise of these dangerous ideas in the next 90 days.
