President Donald Trump is taking a bold stand against the liberal media’s latest smear campaign, calling out fake polls designed to undermine his success as he approaches the 100-day mark of his historic second term.
In a powerful Truth Social post Monday morning, President Trump praised top pollster John McLaughlin for exposing the truth. “The fake news outlets, The New York Times and ABC/Washington Post, have released bogus polls about Donald J. Trump — me — designed to mislead the public,” Trump stated.
Trump highlighted the absurdly low numbers these outlets reported: just 37% support according to The New York Times and 34% in the ABC/Washington Post poll. “Unheard-of numbers unless you’re trying to rig an outcome,” he explained.
According to Trump, the ABC poll manipulated its results by sampling random “adults” rather than focusing on registered voters — a tactic often used to create a negative headline against conservative leaders.
Two days before the 100-day mark, these media outlets pushed the false narrative that Trump’s approval rating is the lowest for any president in U.S. history — a blatant attempt to mislead the American people.
“These pollsters and media outlets should be investigated for election interference,” Trump warned, adding that even Fox News’ pollsters deserve scrutiny. “They are negative criminals who apologize after I win — big — but go right back to their dirty tricks the next cycle.”
Trump did not hold back, blasting the mainstream press for suffering from “Trump Derangement Syndrome” and accusing them of being the “enemy of the people.”
“No matter how strong our economy is, no matter how secure our border becomes — 99.9% secured, the best ever! — they refuse to tell the truth,” Trump said. “Patriots across this nation see through their lies.”
In a follow-up post, President Trump addressed the larger crisis: the collapse of America’s free press.
“The United States no longer has a free and fair press,” Trump wrote. “Instead, we have a compromised media that manipulates polls, spreads false narratives, and actively undermines the American people. Very sad!”
Despite the endless attacks, Trump reaffirmed his commitment to fight for every hardworking American.
“I will never stop fighting to Make America Great Again,” he vowed.
