This was unexpected.

In a surprising turn of events, it now looks like voters in the state of Utah may be looking to move on from former President Donald Trump.

According to Deseret, a new poll conducted by the Hinckley Institute of Politics found that, even with Republican voters, Donald Trump finished third when it came to their choice of a 2024 GOP presidential candidate.

What’s even worse for Trump is that the poll found 6 in 10 Utahns saw Donald Trump in an unfavorable light.

They discovered that only 14.6% of Utahns plan to vote for Donald Trump if the election was held today.

Unsurprisingly, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis came out on top of the list with 24.2% and Republican traitor Liz Cheney actually came second with 16.4% of the vote!

It’s crazy to think that Cheney came out as more favorable than Donald Trump for the 2024 presidential election however the people of Utah seem to believe so.

Former Vice President Mike Pence and Texas Sen. Ted Cruz tied for 4th place with just 6% of the vote.

Republican Nikki Haley came in 5th place with 3.7% of the vote.

Director of the Hinckley Institute of Politics Jason Perry discussed the low polling data of Donald Trump and explained, “His power, his command over the Republican Party seems to be waning to the point that when you ask Utah Republicans if they would consider a different candidate, they clearly would.”
