Crockett wants to be the center of attention so badly. Well, she finally got it.
Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas) — a fierce critic of President Trump — is facing damning allegations about her conduct on Capitol Hill. But instead of answering the charges, the outspoken Democrat laughed them off and quoted pop star Beyoncé.
According to multiple former staffers and congressional aides, Crockett is less interested in serving Texans and more focused on playing celebrity. Sources describe her as “all diva, no wow” — rarely showing up to the office, berating staff, and demanding VIP treatment at taxpayer expense.
One former aide claims Crockett insists on being chauffeured in a luxury SUV — “has to be an Escalade” — with staffers acting as personal drivers. Others say she spends more time lounging in her apartment than working for constituents, and “freaks out” over trivial matters.
When asked about The Post’s explosive report during an appearance on CBS News, Crockett burst out laughing and declared, “Well, I guess I’ve officially made it, honey.” She then quoted Beyoncé, remarking, “If people aren’t talking about you, it probably means you’re not doing much of anything.”
Rather than addressing the specifics, Crockett called the allegations “slander, nonsense, and lies” — but stumbled while inflating her record, claiming “five and a half years” of public service when the math doesn’t add up.
Critics say this is classic liberal hypocrisy — a Democrat enjoying lavish perks while dismissing legitimate concerns. Crockett, however, blamed “the scrutiny that comes with being not only a woman, but young and Black,” and told detractors: “Your hate is my motivation.”
For voters, the question is simple: Should Congress be a place for serious public service — or a stage for taxpayer-funded celebrity lifestyles?
