Trump Silences His Haters With New Fitness Win

Liberal media won’t tell you about this.

President Donald Trump is once again making headlines—this time for another victory on the golf course that supporters say highlights his competitive spirit and active lifestyle while serving in the White House. The president announced that he captured the senior club championship at his Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey, adding another title to his long list of claimed golf accomplishments.

Trump celebrated the win on Truth Social by sharing what he described as the tournament’s defining shot, while also taking a playful jab at the competitors he defeated. The latest victory quickly generated discussion among both supporters and critics, continuing a debate that has followed Trump’s golf game for years.

Trump Celebrates Another Championship

On Sunday, President Trump posted a video showing what he called the tournament’s winning shot. The clip featured a well-executed pitch from approximately 40 to 50 yards away that landed softly on the green before stopping just a few feet from the hole.

Alongside the video, Trump expressed pride in earning the championship despite his demanding schedule as president.

According to Trump, he finished the tournament with a score of 70, an impressive result considering the limited amount of time he says he has available to practice.

“I won with a score of 70, and am so honored in that, unlike the rest of the field, I’m given very little time to practice because I’m focused on many other things,” Trump wrote. “It’s called TALENT, and I have it, and they don’t!”

The post quickly attracted thousands of reactions online as supporters congratulated the president while others debated the accomplishment.

A Busy Schedule Doesn’t Stop Trump

Unlike most amateur golfers who can spend hours each week practicing, Trump argued that the responsibilities of leading the country leave him with little opportunity to work on his game.

Even with a demanding presidential schedule filled with meetings, travel, and policy decisions, Trump has long maintained that staying active is an important part of his routine. Golf has remained one of his favorite recreational activities for decades and has become one of the ways he unwinds while balancing the pressures of public office.

Supporters frequently point to the president’s packed schedule as evidence that maintaining a competitive level of play requires natural ability and experience rather than constant practice.

Another Title Added to Trump’s Golf Resume

Although Trump’s reported score of 70 was slightly higher than one of his previous performances, it still resulted in another championship.

In 2023, Trump said he shot a five-under-par 67 during the same event, three strokes better than this year’s winning score. Even so, he reported winning both the senior championship and the super senior net division, further expanding his collection of tournament victories.

The president has often spoken proudly about his success on the golf course.

During a public appearance last year, Trump said he had won at least 38 club championships throughout his lifetime, describing each victory as legitimate despite the attention his matches receive.

“I’ve won 38 golf championships and I don’t get to practice very much,” Trump previously said. “I beat a 27-year-old kid. I’ve won 38 of them, every one of them legitimately.”

If his latest victory is added to that total, Trump now claims to have earned roughly 40 club championship titles over the years.

Critics Continue to Question Trump’s Golf Success

As with many stories involving President Trump, the latest championship has drawn mixed reactions.

Supporters praised the president for remaining highly competitive while serving in one of the world’s most demanding jobs. Many viewed the victory as another example of Trump’s energy and determination, qualities they say have defined both his business career and his time in politics.

Critics, however, once again questioned Trump’s golf record.

Among the most well-known skeptics is sportswriter Rick Reilly, who has written extensively about Trump’s golf game and has repeatedly challenged the president’s claims regarding tournament victories. Reilly has accused Trump of bending the rules during rounds of golf, allegations that Trump and many of his supporters have consistently dismissed.

The debate surrounding Trump’s golf accomplishments has continued for years, with neither side showing any signs of backing down.

Supporters Say the Win Reflects Trump’s Competitive Spirit

For many of Trump’s supporters, the latest championship is about more than golf.

They argue the victory reflects the same competitive mindset that helped Trump build a successful business career before entering politics. Even while managing the responsibilities of the presidency, supporters believe Trump continues to demonstrate remarkable stamina, confidence, and determination.

His supporters also note that remaining active through recreational sports can promote physical fitness and mental sharpness, particularly for older Americans. Trump’s willingness to continue competing in tournaments has become part of the public image he has cultivated throughout his political career.

The Bedminster victory reinforces that image and gives supporters another example they say contradicts critics who have questioned the president’s energy and endurance.

The Golf Debate Isn’t Going Away

Trump’s latest championship is unlikely to settle the long-running debate over his golf accomplishments. Admirers see another trophy as proof of his skill and competitive drive, while critics remain skeptical of his claims.

Still, the president appears unfazed by the controversy.

Instead of responding directly to critics, Trump chose to let his score—and the video of his winning shot—speak for itself.

Whether viewed as another impressive athletic achievement or simply another chapter in Trump’s colorful public life, the Bedminster championship has once again placed the president at the center of national conversation.

With another reported title added to his resume and supporters celebrating the victory, Trump has once again demonstrated that even away from the political stage, he knows how to command attention and keep people talking.
