Senate Democrats have just announced a new gun law which would force all Americans to get a five year federal firearm license before they are allowed to even purchase a single gun.
The bill will also allow the government to confiscate their gun if the law is revoked.
According to American Military News, the new bill known as The Federal Firearm Licensing Act will also force all Americans to take a firearm safety training — including a written test and hands-on training of they want to own a gun.
Furthermore, the new bill would also force people to “complete a criminal background check, submit fingerprints and proof of identity, and be over the age of 21.”
After the bill was unveiled, Senator Cory Booker said, “This bill moves us in the right direction and is based on a simple concept – if you need a license to drive a car, you should need one to buy and possess a gun.”
This bill is nonesense and strips the rights of every American who values their Second Amendment freedoms.
