Nobody saw this coming.
In a shocking turn of events, the co-founder of “Women For Trump,” Amy Kremer, has just dumped former President Donald Trump and says that he has become “disconnected from the base” that has supported him since the very beginning.
According to Newsweek, Kremer explained, “it’s time for those of us in the movement to get back to basics, back to our first principles.”
She then said, “We were here long before President Trump came along, and we’re going to be here long afterward.”
Kremer then added, “Donald Trump is disconnected from the base. I don’t know what has happened there. I think he’s getting bad advice from the people around him, and I think it’s unfortunate.”
Trump had endorsed Katie Britt for the Alabama Senate however Women for Trump wanted Rep. Mo Brooks to win.
After Brooks lost to Britt, Kremer said, “People are very angry at him. This is the 2nd time he has done this to the people of AL (Luther Strange) & I’m not sure they will get over this. They view it as a slap in the face & a disconnect from the ppl. I get it…”
I’m on the ground in Alabama & Trump got this way wrong.
People are very angry at him.
This is the 2nd time he has done this to the people of AL (Luther Strange) & I’m not sure they will get over this.
They view it as a slap in the face & a disconnect from the ppl. I get it…
