Trump Hit With Major New Loss

This was unexpected.

President Donald Trump’s approval rating has dipped to 38% in the latest Quinnipiac University poll, marking the lowest point of his second term. While the mainstream media is seizing on the number, many conservatives say the real story is being ignored.

The survey, conducted from June 5–9 with 1,265 registered voters, claims 54% disapprove of how Trump is handling the presidency. But Trump’s approval remains strong on the key issues that matter most to patriotic Americans—immigration, the economy, and law and order.

🔹 Immigration Still Trump’s Strongest Issue
Despite endless attacks from liberal pundits, President Trump holds a 43% approval rating on immigration—his highest among all major issues. That includes his aggressive push to secure the southern border, restart deportations, and end taxpayer-funded benefits for illegal immigrants.

In fact, just last month, Trump’s immigration approval was at 45%. The slight dip is within the poll’s 2.8% margin of error, but it hasn’t shaken his loyal base.

🔹 Media Bias and War Fatigue Shape Foreign Policy Opinions
On the Ukraine war, only 34% approve of Trump’s approach—unsurprising given the growing skepticism among older Americans about endless foreign entanglements. Regarding the Israel-Hamas conflict, Trump earned 35% approval, with many conservatives praising his historic support for Israel and his calls for peace through strength.

“Americans are tired of blank checks to foreign wars and want leaders focused on peace and strength,” said a voter from Florida aged 62.

🔹 The Economy and Trade Still a Battlefront
Trump received 40% approval on the economy and 38% on trade—showing that many voters still trust his instincts on jobs, inflation, and bringing manufacturing back to U.S. soil. Conservative retirees especially have shown concern about Biden-era inflation and welcome Trump’s push for economic sanity.

🔹 Alternative Polls Show a Better Picture
While Quinnipiac’s numbers made headlines, more balanced pollsters show a different outlook. Decision Desk HQ currently averages Trump’s approval at 47%, with 49.9% disapproval. Meanwhile, a new YouGov/Economist poll has Trump at 45% approval—suggesting that momentum is still very much on his side heading into 2025.

💬 Bottom Line:
The liberal media wants you to believe Trump is faltering. But on the issues that matter—immigration, national security, the economy—millions of Americans over 50 still trust Trump to lead. The numbers may rise and fall, but the movement behind him remains as strong as ever.
