Trump, Musk Make Amends?

Is the fight over?

LOS ANGELES, CA — Tech billionaire Elon Musk has thrown his support behind President Trump as violent immigration protests spiral out of control in Democrat-run California.

On Sunday night, Musk used his social media platform X to repost a statement from Trump that blasted California Governor Gavin Newsom and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass for their disastrous response to the unrest. The protests erupted after federal immigration raids targeted criminal illegals in the city.

Musk offered no commentary—but actions speak louder than words. His repost came just days after a heated online clash with Trump, making the apparent endorsement all the more significant.

The Tesla and SpaceX CEO also reshared a powerful message from Vice President JD Vance:

“This moment calls for decisive leadership. The president will not tolerate rioting and violence.”

Musk added two American flag emojis—a strong visual signal of patriotism and support.

In another striking post, Musk shared a photo of a protester standing atop a burning vehicle with a blunt message:

“This is not ok.”

These messages echo Musk’s previous role as a special government adviser, when he frequently used X to amplify White House policy. His shift back into alignment with the Trump administration signals a growing divide between conservative leaders and failed Democrat policies.

Trump Takes Action, Democrats Panic

As the streets of Los Angeles descended into chaos, President Trump responded with swift, decisive action: over 2,000 National Guard troops deployed to restore order.

By midday Sunday, around 300 troops were already stationed across the city. Protesters had blocked major freeways, set autonomous vehicles on fire, and clashed violently with overwhelmed police officers. Dozens of arrests were made. Tear gas and rubber bullets were deployed as law enforcement struggled to regain control.

Los Angeles Police Chief Jim McDonnell said his officers were “overwhelmed” by the size and aggression of the crowds.

Meanwhile, Governor Newsom threatened to sue the Trump administration, claiming the deployment of the National Guard violated state authority.

But for many across the country—especially older, law-abiding Americans—the message was clear: President Trump is standing up for law and order.

Musk Deletes Attacks, Realigns with Trump

Just days earlier, Musk had posted a series of critical messages about Trump’s tax and spending policies. Some of those posts—including one suggesting Trump was named in the Epstein files—have since been deleted.

Insiders believe Musk’s change in tone may signal a return to cooperation with Trump’s team, especially as violence grows in blue-state cities.

While Trump stated Friday that he was “done” with Musk, he also wished him well. Their future relationship remains uncertain—but for now, Musk appears to be siding with common sense over chaos.

Bottom Line

President Trump is doing what weak Democrat leaders won’t: protecting American lives, restoring order, and refusing to back down.

Elon Musk, once a critic, is now signaling support for the only leader willing to take action when cities burn.
