A Bold New Symbol Appears Across from the White House—And It’s All About Trump, Strength, and America’s Future

Washington, D.C. — A surprising new version of the American flag is turning heads in the heart of the nation’s capital—and it’s not about granting statehood to liberal Washington, D.C. It’s about American expansion, national defense, and putting America First.

The banner, flown proudly above the National Grange building just steps from Lafayette Park, includes 51 stars—but the extra star isn’t white like the others. It’s green. And according to patriot and Trump supporter Ryan Lambert, that green star symbolizes a bold idea: Greenland as America’s 51st state.

Lambert, who also erected a massive “Welcome Back, Mr. President!” banner to mark President Trump’s return to office in January, says Greenland represents untapped opportunity for the United States.

Greenland is rich in resources and strategically important,” Lambert told The Post. “Bringing it under U.S. control would make America safer, stronger, and more secure in the Arctic region.”

President Donald J. Trump has long floated the idea of acquiring Greenland from Denmark, pointing to its valuable natural resources and location as a key military asset. The island, with a population of just over 56,000, could play a critical role in securing American influence near the Arctic.

This is about national security, energy independence, and American strength,” said Lambert. “I want to help spread the President’s message and get Americans thinking about what’s best for our future.”

Forget D.C. Statehood—Why Greenland Makes More Sense

Lambert made it clear that the green star has nothing to do with adding another liberal stronghold to the union. “Washington, D.C. statehood is a Democrat power grab,” he said. “But Greenland could actually benefit every American.”

He dismissed talk of annexing Canada or the Panama Canal Zone, both of which President Trump has also joked about. “We already built the canal. And Canada? Great folks—but they’d need to shake off their socialist ways first.”

A Green Star to Spark Conversation and Patriotism

Lambert’s decision to use a green star—rather than adding another white one to the flag’s blue field—was intentional. “It’s about visibility. The green star gets people asking questions, and that’s how awareness grows,” he explained.

Public Response: Mostly Positive, Despite the Usual Critics

Lambert says the flag has drawn supportive reactions from passersby. “A lot of people get it. They’re excited. Of course, there are always critics—but if we didn’t take bold steps, we wouldn’t have Alaska or Hawaii,” he said. “America didn’t become great by playing it safe.

As America reclaims its leadership under President Trump, voices like Lambert’s are sparking conversation and patriotism—reminding the nation that bold ideas build strong futures.
