GOP Announces Shocking New Tax

America First just got a new financial weapon. And Mexico is panicking.

In a bold move to put Americans first and crack down on illegal immigration, Republicans in Congress are pushing a powerful new tool: a tax on the billions of dollars migrants send out of the U.S. every year.

A 3.5% Tax That Could Fund Border Security

The One Big Beautiful Bill Act, currently moving through the U.S. Senate, proposes a 3.5% tax on remittances — the money non-citizens send back home, often to countries like Mexico, Guatemala, or El Salvador.

This move could generate $26 billion over 10 years, according to the Joint Committee on Taxation — funds that could finally be used to protect the American people, not subsidize foreign economies.

Mexico’s President Melts Down

The proposal sparked immediate outrage from Mexico’s socialist president, Claudia Sheinbaum, who went viral over the weekend for threatening action against the U.S.

“If necessary, we’ll mobilize,” Sheinbaum warned in a fiery speech.
“We don’t want taxes on remittances from our fellow countrymen.”

She didn’t clarify what “mobilize” meant — but the threat was loud and clear.

GOP Response: Raise the Tax Even Higher

Republicans didn’t flinch — in fact, they doubled down.

Sen. Eric Schmitt (R-MO) slammed Sheinbaum’s comments and announced a bold countermeasure:

“The U.S. is not a global piggy bank,” Schmitt posted.
“I’m introducing legislation to quadruple the remittance tax to 15%. We don’t take kindly to threats.”

That sentiment was echoed by Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX), who demanded a tougher stance:

“New reason to amend the Senate bill. We should tax remittances at a far higher rate.”

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) kept it simple:

Raise the remittances!!

Trump’s Tariffs Deliver Results

Earlier this year, President Trump slapped 25% tariffs on goods from Mexico and Canada not protected under the USMCA. The goal? To pressure both countries to stop the flow of fentanyl, human trafficking, and illegal border crossings.

And it’s working. Remittances to Mexico are beginning to slow as Trump’s policies take effect and enforcement ramps up.

Billions Leaving the U.S. — Untaxed… Until Now

Last year alone, Mexico received over $64 billion in remittances from the U.S. That’s money earned here — and sent away, tax-free.

Many Americans are asking: Why should illegal aliens and foreign nationals enjoy tax-free privileges while seniors struggle to pay their bills?

This new tax proposal is resonating with everyday Americans who are tired of footing the bill while global elites and foreign leaders dictate terms.

Bottom Line

Republicans are fighting to ensure America’s money stays in America. President Trump’s leadership is once again putting our citizens, our security, and our sovereignty first.

Expect more backlash from globalists — and more action from America First patriots.
