This is not good news for Trump.

Mark Meadows, along with other former top aides to former President Donald Trump, have been ordered to testify before a federal grand jury investigating Trump’s actions before the January 6, 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol.

According to Newsmax, Federal Judge Beryl Howell has rejected Trump’s assertion of executive privilege and has ordered the testimony to proceed.

Mark Meadows, who previously held the position of Trump’s chief of staff, along with other former aides, including former Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe, former national security adviser Robert O’Brien, former top aide Stephen Miller, and former deputy chief of staff and social media director Dan Scavino, have been subpoenaed by special counsel Jack Smith for their testimony regarding the investigation.

Sources have revealed that former Trump aides Nick Luna and John McEntee, as well as former top DHS official Ken Cuccinelli, were also named in the judge’s sealed order.

ABC’s request for comment went unanswered by Meadows, and his legal representative did not respond either. However, Scavino, Ratcliffe, O’Brien, Miller, Luna, McEntee, and Cuccinelli have commented on the matter.

According to Politico, lawyers representing both Trump and former Vice President Mike Pence appeared in federal court on Thursday to oppose efforts by Jack Smith to subpoena Pence as part of the ongoing investigation.
