This needed to happen.

It has just been learned that Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas has granted Republican Senator Lindsey Graham’s request to temporarily shield him from testifying for a Trump election interference scandal currently being investigated in Georgia.

According to The Hill, judge Clarence Thomas approved a request sent directly to him by Lindsey Graham after a lower appeals court refused to halt Graham’s testimony.

This marks a serious win for Senator Lindsey Graham and the Republicans who have launched investigation after investigation against former President Donald Trump in an attempt to keep him from running again in 2024.

Democrat and Georgia District Attorney Fani Willis has expressed great interest in knowing about phone calls between Donald Trump and Lindsey Graham after the 2020 election.

Graham’s legal team slammed Willis and said in a statement, “Without a stay, Senator Lindsey Graham will soon be questioned by a local Georgia prosecutor and her ad hoc investigative body about his protected ‘Speech or Debate’ related to the 2020 election. This will occur despite the Constitution’s command that Senators ‘shall not be questioned’ about ‘any Speech or Debate.’”
