Trump patience is wearing this.
America is watching in disbelief as the Supreme Court once again interferes with President Donald Trump’s efforts to secure the border and defend our national sovereignty.
Just before 1:00 a.m. Saturday morning, the high court issued a surprise emergency order blocking the Trump administration from deporting a group of suspected Venezuelan gang members. The migrants were being held in Texas and were scheduled for deportation under the rarely used Alien Enemies Act — a powerful executive tool designed to protect America during national security threats.
🛑 But in a stunning intervention, the Court slammed the brakes just minutes before the deportation deadline.
👨⚖️ Court Blocks Deportation Without Even Waiting for a Response
What makes this decision especially alarming? It was rushed through without giving the government time to respond, and it came during the Easter holiday weekend — a time when most Americans were focused on family, faith, and country.
Even more unusual, the justices didn’t wait for Justice Samuel Alito to finish his written dissent. Alito later blasted the order as “legally questionable” and “unprecedented.”
“We had no good reason to issue an order at midnight,” Alito wrote. “This was inappropriate.”
🔥 Conservatives Say: Enough is Enough
President Trump’s supporters are furious — and they’re making their voices heard.
Paul Ingrassia, a senior White House liaison, called out the judiciary on social media, writing that American courts have become “infected with parasitical ideology” and that many judges today no longer understand the purpose of law in a free nation.
Conservative radio host Jesse Kelly went even further, writing on X (formerly Twitter):
“Ignore the Supreme Court. Arrest anyone who tries to enforce this. Deport foreigners or you don’t have a country anymore.”
Mike Davis, a former clerk for Justice Neil Gorsuch and longtime Trump ally, didn’t hold back either:
“This is shameful lawlessness and cowardice from the so-called conservative justices.”
⚖️ A Radical Break from Protocol
The ACLU submitted its emergency petition to the Court late Friday. Under normal circumstances, Justice Alito — the designated justice for the Fifth Circuit — would have handled the request alone.
But this time, the full Court intervened. This highly irregular move bypassed normal procedure, raising concerns that the justices acted out of political pressure or internal mistrust of the Trump administration.
Ed Whelan of the Ethics and Public Policy Center pointed out what many are thinking:
“The only explanation is the justices don’t trust the Trump administration to keep its word. That alone is outrageous.”
🇺🇸 Trump Stays Respectful — For Now
To his credit, President Trump has refrained from publicly attacking the justices, despite growing calls from his base to do so. Trump has repeatedly said he has “great respect” for the Supreme Court — even as the Court continues to obstruct key parts of his border security efforts.
But behind the scenes, pressure is building. The administration has already filed ten emergency applications to the Court, and many more are likely as illegal immigration surges and public safety hangs in the balance.
📉 Is Chief Justice Roberts Losing Control?
Josh Blackman, a constitutional law professor, issued a warning that many conservatives agree with:
“Chief Justice John Roberts is flailing. The more he tries to maintain control, the deeper he sinks.”
With illegal immigrants pouring across the border, and known gang members evading deportation, Americans are asking a simple question:
If the Supreme Court won’t let the President enforce the law, who will?
