Trump Deporting US Judges?

Conservatives are very upset.

President Trump’s strong push to restore law and order at the southern border has run into unexpected resistance — this time from the U.S. Supreme Court.

Despite the Court’s conservative majority, a recent 7-2 emergency ruling has temporarily halted the Trump administration’s use of wartime powers under the 1798 Alien Enemies Act to swiftly deport suspected foreign gang members. The decision has sparked widespread concern and frustration across conservative media and grassroots supporters.

Trump Supporters Push Back on High Court’s Ruling

Many conservatives are questioning the Court’s judgment — especially given its previous support for border security. Popular voices within the America First movement are urging President Trump to remain firm.

“You can’t have a country if you can’t enforce your own borders,” said conservative host Jesse Kelly. “This decision sends the wrong message at the worst possible time.”

Others, like Sean Davis of The Federalist, emphasized that enforcing immigration laws is essential for national security and sovereignty. He even went on to say that Trump should start deporting judges after he’s done deporting illegals!

Court Blocks Use of 1798 Law in Fast-Track Deportations

The Supreme Court’s temporary injunction applies to Venezuelan nationals in Texas and comes as the Court considers legal arguments about due process rights for detainees. While traditional deportations are still ongoing, the administration’s emergency use of the Alien Enemies Act had allowed for expedited removals — especially targeting suspected members of violent international gangs like Tren de Aragua.

Justice Samuel Alito, joined by Justice Clarence Thomas, issued a strong dissent criticizing the majority’s rapid and unexplained intervention. “This kind of last-minute interference undermines both the legal process and national security,” Alito wrote.

Conservative Voices Defend President Trump’s Border Actions

Commentators such as Josie Glabach, also known as The Redheaded Libertarian, questioned the Court’s consistency: “Where was the urgency when American citizens were denied due process? Why the sudden concern for foreign criminals?”

Legal analyst Mike Davis, founder of the Article III Project, called the ruling “legally flawed and deeply disappointing,” while political commentator Rogan O’Handley warned the decision could “jeopardize the legitimacy of the Court if it continues to obstruct the president’s lawful authority.”

Trump Administration Remains Confident

In a statement, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt reassured the public:
“We remain confident we will ultimately prevail against this wave of politically motivated lawsuits. President Trump will never back down from protecting the American people.”

The president’s legal team is expected to appeal the decision and argue for the constitutional right of the executive branch to use wartime statutes in defense of the homeland.

The Bigger Picture: Security, Sovereignty, and the Rule of Law

The Supreme Court has previously handed down rulings that conservatives applauded — including the overturning of Roe v. Wade. But this latest decision has reignited a debate over the role of the Court in times of national crisis.

“America voted for strong borders and decisive leadership in 2024,” said political analyst Gunther Eagleman. “Not judicial interference in matters of national security.”

As immigration remains one of the top issues heading into 2025, President Trump’s supporters remain firmly behind his bold efforts to restore control, enforce the law, and secure America’s future.
