A Trump Dynasty could be in the works.
Eric Trump is once again sparking speculation about America’s political future, refusing to shut the door on the idea of running for president. The son of President Donald J. Trump said over the weekend that he is “not ruling it out,” fueling talk of a potential Trump dynasty stretching well beyond 2028.
Eric Trump on the World Stage
As Executive Vice President of the Trump Organization and CEO of World Liberty Financial, Eric has been busy expanding his business empire. His latest push is in the booming digital currency market, where he is promoting U.S.-backed stablecoins across Asia.
“There is so much demand for dollar-backed stablecoins,” Eric told Nikkei Asia. “We want America to lead that movement.”
He also noted that under his father’s leadership, new regulatory reforms could ensure U.S. digital assets dominate global markets — a vision directly tied to President Trump’s America First economic agenda.
Could Eric Trump Run in 2028?
Though Eric has said politics is “brutal” and insists he loves the business world, his growing profile keeps the speculation alive. In July, he told the BBC that a Trump family member “could certainly” run for president in the future.
While he doubts he’ll be on the ballot in 2028, his refusal to rule it out suggests the Trump family brand will remain central in Republican politics for decades to come.
The Trump Dynasty Question
President Trump’s children — Eric, Donald Jr., and Ivanka — have remained in the spotlight, building both business empires and political credibility. Many conservatives see their growing influence as proof that the Trump dynasty is just beginning.
What Comes Next for Conservatives?
For now, Eric Trump is doubling down on strengthening America’s financial reach abroad while carefully keeping political options open. His comments have Republicans asking: Will the Trump dynasty carry the America First movement into 2028 and beyond?
