President Donald Trump didn’t hold back on Friday as he blasted NFL owners for failing to draft Shedeur Sanders, the talented quarterback prospect and son of NFL legend Deion Sanders.
While en route to Rome for the funeral of Pope Francis, Trump took to Truth Social to voice his frustration with the 2025 NFL Draft results.
“Have NFL owners lost their minds? Deion Sanders was a legendary player in both college and the NFL — and today, he’s a sharp, streetwise coach!” President Trump said.
Trump praised Shedeur’s undeniable pedigree, highlighting the quarterback’s winning DNA and future greatness.
“Shedeur has PHENOMENAL GENES and is ready for GREATNESS. Any NFL team that wants to WIN should pick him IMMEDIATELY. Good luck Shedeur — and give my best to your wonderful father!” Trump added.
