Trump Says US To Lose Trillions

Here’s what Trump had to say.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – President Donald J. Trump is sounding the alarm after a group of federal judges struck down his signature tariff policy — a move he calls “horrific,” “politically motivated,” and a “direct attack on presidential power.”

In a fiery Truth Social post, Trump blasted the U.S. Court of International Trade, saying their decision threatens not only America’s economy, but the very ability of future presidents to defend the nation.

“Where do these judges come from? Is it just blind hatred of Trump — or worse?” he wrote. “Without tariffs, trillions of dollars would never have flowed into America. These policies saved American jobs and protected our country.”

The court ruled Trump exceeded his authority under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act when he imposed tough tariffs: 10% on dozens of countries, 25% on Mexico and Canada, and 20% on China — targeting nations linked to illicit fentanyl trafficking and trade imbalances.

But Trump argues that’s exactly what strong leadership looks like.

⚠️ “This Decision Is a Disaster for American Workers”

The former president warned that if this ruling is upheld, it could cripple the executive branch and hand control over U.S. trade policy to unelected judges and career politicians in Congress.

“Imagine hundreds of career politicians sitting around for months trying to decide how to protect America. That’s insanity,” Trump said. “Presidential power would be completely destroyed.”

The ruling has been temporarily blocked by a federal appeals court, as the Trump administration pushes for urgent review by the U.S. Supreme Court.

🔍 Trump Exposes Legal Elites Behind the Ruling

In a surprise twist, Trump turned his attention to the Federalist Society, a powerful conservative legal group that advised him on judicial appointments during his first term. He blamed them — and co-chairman Leonard Leo — for recommending judges who are now undermining the very policies they once claimed to support.

“I was new to Washington. I trusted the Federalist Society. I now see Leonard Leo had his own agenda,” Trump wrote. “This was bad advice — and it hurt the country.”

Leo responded to The Post, saying he was grateful to have worked with Trump and praised the president’s legacy of reshaping the federal judiciary. But Trump didn’t hold back, accusing Leo of backing groups that are now suing to dismantle his economic reforms.

💬 “Radical Left Judges Are Cheered by Foreign Countries”

Trump warned that the court’s decision is being celebrated by hostile nations around the world — and condemned at home by hardworking Americans.

“Only foreign countries are cheering this ruling,” Trump said. “Radical left judges and corrupt insiders are tearing down everything we built.”

“Trillions of dollars will be lost. American manufacturing will suffer. But we’re not giving up — we will Make America Great Again.”

🇺🇸 Final Word from Trump: ‘Protect the Presidency, Protect America’

Trump’s message was clear: if presidents can’t act swiftly in times of crisis — economic or otherwise — the nation is at risk.

“The President of the United States must be able to protect our economy and our sovereignty,” Trump said. “This ruling is a dangerous precedent — and it must be overturned.”

“Thank you for your attention to this critical issue.”
