Trump Sends World Leader Into Hiding?

Don’t get on Trump’s bad side.

Venezuelan dictator Nicolás Maduro is panicking after President Donald Trump ordered three powerful U.S. warships to patrol off Venezuela’s coast. The bold move comes as Trump intensifies his crackdown on drug cartels and socialist corruption spreading through Latin America.

Maduro, whose illegitimate regime has been accused of stealing multiple elections, called the deployment “an illegal attempt at regime change.” But U.S. officials say the operation is designed to shut down cartel trafficking routes and confront Venezuela’s failed leadership head-on.

The show of force includes three Aegis guided-missile destroyers, some of the most advanced warships in the world. It follows Trump’s decision this month to authorize military action against narco-terrorist cartels and his announcement of a $50 million bounty for Maduro’s capture.

Rather than owning up to his corruption, Maduro erupted in anger, insisting the U.S. warships were targeting him directly. He told lawmakers the deployment amounted to “regime change” and a “terrorist military assault,” calling it immoral and illegal.

In a desperate attempt to save face, the dictator vowed to mobilize 4.5 million militia members across Venezuela. He warned that any U.S. action would be “an attack on all Latin America.” Critics call it empty bluster from a cornered strongman who knows his days are numbered.

The Justice Department has indicted Maduro for running the infamous Cartel de los Soles, which has pumped hundreds of tons of cocaine into the United States for decades. Just last month, the cartel was officially labeled a global terrorist organization, making Maduro one of the world’s most wanted men.

President Trump’s message is unmistakable: America will not sit back while drug cartels, socialist dictators, and failed regimes threaten U.S. security. With American warships on Venezuela’s doorstep — and a massive bounty on his head — Maduro may soon have nowhere left to run.
