Trump is not playing any games in his 2nd term.

As President-elect Donald Trump prepares to assume office on January 20, he is readying a bold, aggressive agenda with a plan to issue over 100 executive orders on his first day in office. This unprecedented move, aimed at addressing key Republican priorities, will signal a sharp break from the policies of the outgoing Biden administration and set the tone for the new White House.

In private discussions with Republican senators, Trump’s team laid out a strategy focused heavily on border security and immigration reform. Top adviser Stephen Miller revealed that Trump’s immediate actions will focus on reversing many of Biden’s executive orders, especially those related to the U.S.-Mexico border. Senators were briefed on plans to finish the border wall, increase deportations, and enforce stricter immigration measures that prioritize American security and sovereignty.

Trump’s approach reflects his campaign promises, including cracking down on illegal immigration and taking swift action to restore law and order at the border. Key to this will be the construction of new immigration detention facilities and the deployment of enhanced enforcement measures. Republican lawmakers are already working with Trump’s team to secure funding for these initiatives, with estimates suggesting that around $100 billion will be needed for border security, infrastructure, and other related measures.

One of the first orders of business, according to Republican senators like Sen. James Lankford of Oklahoma, will be addressing the estimated 1 million migrants who recently entered the U.S. illegally, committed crimes, or are subject to deportation orders. Lankford has stated that the Trump administration will focus on the “low-hanging fruit” — those with criminal records or recent illegal entries — and begin the process of removing them from the country immediately.

In addition to immigration, Trump’s executive orders will also address energy policy, federal workforce regulations, and other key areas of his campaign platform. While executive orders are a common tool for new administrations, Trump’s use of them on a massive scale is intended to quickly reshape the direction of the country without waiting for Congress to act.

The incoming administration’s priorities are clear, and Republican senators are eager to work with President Trump to enact his agenda, especially on issues like border security and fiscal responsibility. Trump’s executive actions, some of which may be symbolic, others more substantive, will mark a dramatic shift from the previous administration, as Republicans move to reclaim control over critical policy areas and reaffirm their commitment to protecting American interests.
