Trump’s Post-Presidency Plans Leaked

President Donald Trump may already be laying the groundwork for his next major role after leaving the White House — and it could involve reshaping global diplomacy for years to come.

According to U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee, Trump has no plans to slow down after 2028. Instead, the former president is expected to remain actively involved in an international initiative known as the Board of Peace, a proposed organization designed to bring world leaders together to resolve international conflicts.

In a recent interview, Huckabee emphasized that Trump is not someone who simply steps away from public life.

“Anyone who truly knows President Trump understands he’s not the kind of leader who retires quietly,” Huckabee said. “He’s not built to sit still or disengage from the world.”

A New Chapter After the White House

Rather than fading from the global stage, Huckabee suggested Trump could turn the Board of Peace into a long-term post-presidency mission. Trump has already named himself chairman of the organization with no defined end date and has expressed interest in basing the group in Washington, D.C.

“This could become his defining project after leaving office,” Huckabee said. “He wants to be remembered for results, especially when it comes to peace.”

The Board of Peace would reportedly focus on direct engagement with foreign leaders, emphasizing negotiation, leverage, and outcomes over traditional diplomatic symbolism.

A Different View of Peacemaking

Huckabee, a former pastor, drew a distinction between talking about peace and actually achieving it, referencing biblical principles familiar to many Americans.

“Scripture talks about peacemakers, not just people who say they want peace,” Huckabee explained. “There’s a big difference between slogans and solutions.”

According to Huckabee, Trump sees himself as someone who actively enforces stability rather than passively hoping for calm. Symbolic gestures, he argued, do not stop wars — decisive leadership does.

Trump’s Impact on Global Conflicts

The ambassador credited Trump with helping de-escalate or resolve multiple international disputes through direct and unconventional diplomacy. From Eastern Europe to the Middle East, Huckabee said Trump’s approach has challenged long-standing norms while producing tangible results.

Rather than relying solely on bureaucratic processes, Trump’s strategy has emphasized strength, negotiation, and accountability — an approach Huckabee believes is reshaping how the United States engages in foreign policy.

“All of this comes from a leader with vision and relentless energy,” Huckabee said. “He’s willing to do what others won’t — and that’s why it’s working.”

A Legacy Still Taking Shape

If Huckabee’s assessment is accurate, Trump’s post-presidency years may be just as active as his time in office. With the Board of Peace potentially serving as a platform for continued global involvement, Trump appears focused on securing a lasting legacy as a leader willing to confront international challenges head-on.

Whether inside or outside the White House, Huckabee made one thing clear: Donald Trump is far from finished.
