Trump’s Vice President Banned

This was pathetic.

In a move that’s sparking outrage across conservative circles, Vice President JD Vance was briefly banned from the left-leaning social media site Bluesky—just minutes after he created an account and posted his first message.

🚫 Banned Within 12 Minutes

Vance, President Trump’s vice president and a staunch advocate for free speech and traditional American values, joined the platform on Wednesday to foster what he called “common sense political discussion.”

“Hello Bluesky,” he wrote. “I’ve been told this app has become the place to go for common sense political discussion and analysis. So I’m thrilled to be here to engage with all of you.”

But just 12 minutes after his post went live, his account was suspended without warning.

💬 Vance Speaks Out on Child Transgender Treatments

Before the suspension, Vance had shared his reaction to a landmark Supreme Court ruling that upheld Tennessee’s ban on transgender medical treatments for minors.

He highlighted a powerful concurrence from Justice Clarence Thomas, who criticized the weak science behind these procedures and questioned the role of Big Pharma.

“He points out that a number of so-called experts have relied on weak reasoning and questionable science to promote experimental treatments for children,” Vance wrote. “I’d also note that many of these researchers are heavily funded by big pharmaceutical companies to market these drugs to kids.”

The post ended with a call for open discussion:

“What do you think?”

❌ Censorship or “Mistake”?

Shortly after the post, visitors to Vance’s Bluesky profile were greeted with the message:

“Not found. Account has been suspended.”

According to journalist Marc Caputo, the account vanished just after Vance announced his arrival on X (formerly Twitter).

Although Bluesky reinstated the account minutes later, claiming it had triggered an automated impersonation alert, the damage was done.

A company spokesperson said:

“Vice President Vance’s account was briefly flagged by our automated systems… The account was quickly restored and verified so people can confirm its authenticity.”

📉 Free Speech Under Fire Again

Despite Bluesky’s explanation, conservatives aren’t buying it. Many see the suspension as part of a broader pattern of censorship targeting conservative leaders.

Bluesky, created as an “alternative” to Twitter after Elon Musk’s takeover, has attracted a massive liberal user base. Following President Trump’s 2024 re-election, the platform exploded in size—jumping from 10 million to over 30 million users between November and May, according to Pew Research Center.

Liberal users quickly turned hostile toward Vance.

“Don’t just block. Report the account and the posts,” one user ranted.
Another boasted they had flagged the Vice President’s post for “misinformation.”

🔎 The Bigger Picture: Control the Conversation, Silence the Opposition

This incident highlights a growing concern among Americans: Big Tech is no longer neutral. Platforms like Bluesky are increasingly seen as echo chambers for the Left—where conservative voices are labeled ‘misinformation’ and silenced.

Even with the account reinstated, the message is clear:

If you challenge the narrative, you’re a target.

✅ The Bottom Line

Vice President JD Vance’s temporary ban serves as a warning shot to anyone who dares to speak truth in today’s politically charged online world.

In 2025, free speech is under siege, and this latest episode shows just how far some platforms will go to control the narrative—especially when it comes from the Trump administration.
