Trump NY Judge Disbarred?

This judge is totally out of control.

In a fiery weekend post, President-elect Donald Trump took aim at a New York judge who has ordered sentencing to begin in his hush money case next week. Trump didn’t hold back, calling Judge Juan Merchan “the most conflicted judge in New York State history,” and reiterating his stance that the charges against him are politically motivated.

In a series of posts on Truth Social, Trump vehemently rejected the accusations that he falsified business records, calling the case a “fake, made-up charge” orchestrated by a “corrupt judge” who, according to Trump, is simply doing the bidding of the Biden-Harris administration. He slammed the judge for creating a case out of thin air and imposed a “gag order” preventing him from speaking out about the alleged bias.

“This is nothing but a political hit job, a blatant attempt to attack me, your duly elected President,” Trump said. “The Fake News refuses to cover the truth, but the people know. They know I’ve been unfairly targeted.”

Judge Merchan had previously announced that sentencing for Trump’s 34-count felony conviction would begin on January 10, but hinted that he might recommend no punishment due to the Supreme Court’s ruling on presidential immunity. This move was seen as an attempt to balance the law with Trump’s pending inauguration. Despite this, Trump continued his tirade against the judge, labeling him a “Trump-hating” figure and calling for him to be disbarred.

“The courts in New York are corrupt, and that’s why businesses and people are fleeing the state,” Trump wrote. “A system so broken, so biased, that it’s become a mockery of justice.”

Trump’s defense team has long argued that his position as president-elect should exempt him from legal proceedings. They believe the case should be dismissed entirely, and Trump made clear his intention to appeal the decision. He also reminded his supporters of his legal victories, including the dismissal of charges in the 2020 election interference case and the classified documents case, both of which were dropped following his victory over Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 election.

“I defeated Deranged Jack Smith, the corrupt prosecutor appointed by Joe Biden, and I’ll do the same here,” Trump declared. “The American people see through this sham, and the appellate courts will correct these injustices.”

Trump’s words serve as a rallying cry for his supporters, reinforcing his belief that he is the target of a politically motivated legal system. As he prepares to take office once again, he remains confident that justice will prevail.
