Schumer Tries To Block Major Trump Award

Schumer has so much hate for President Trump. It’s unhealthy.

Senate Democrat leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) exploded in fury Saturday, launching a bitter attack on President Donald Trump after his high-stakes Alaska summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Schumer accused Trump of “selling out Ukraine” and sneered that the president should not be considered for the Nobel Peace Prize.

His outburst came just days after Hillary Clinton shocked the political world by saying she would back Trump’s nomination for the prize — if he could bring an end to the bloody conflict in Ukraine.

Trump Meets Putin in Alaska

President Trump and Vladimir Putin met for more than three hours at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Anchorage, Alaska.

The closed-door session was described by Trump as “productive,” though the president acknowledged that while progress had been made, the final deal was not yet locked in.

“We didn’t get there, but we have a good chance,” Trump told reporters, choosing not to take further questions.

The president later briefed NATO allies, who — predictably — doubled down on their usual warnings about Ukraine.

Schumer’s Meltdown

Chuck Schumer wasted no time launching attacks.

Schumer posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, claiming, “Trump is once again abandoning Ukraine and catering to Putin. That doesn’t deserve a Nobel Peace Prize.”

He went further, accusing Trump of giving Putin “legitimacy, a global stage, zero accountability — and getting nothing in return.”

In other words, a full-blown Democrat meltdown.

Trump Strikes Back

Appearing on Fox News with Sean Hannity, President Trump defended the meeting and made it clear: any agreement must come directly from Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Trump announced he will host Zelensky at the Oval Office on Monday for further discussions.

Clinton, surprisingly, had already said she would support Trump’s bid for a Nobel Peace Prize if he achieved a ceasefire without surrendering Ukraine’s sovereignty. Trump thanked her for the rare acknowledgment.

Zelensky Pushes Back

Ukrainian President Zelensky, however, rejected the idea of a land-for-peace swap.

“We will never leave the Donbas,” Zelensky told reporters.

This sets the stage for tough negotiations — and highlights just how massive the stakes are for Trump’s peace push.

The Bottom Line

Chuck Schumer’s furious attacks reveal what Democrats fear most: that President Trump is achieving what Joe Biden never could — real diplomacy that could end the war.

Instead of endless weakness and excuses, Trump is showing leadership. Even Hillary Clinton had to admit it.

Schumer may rant and rave, but the truth is clear: Trump is once again proving why he dominates the global stage — and why his critics can’t stand it.
