Sports organizations across the America are deciding to get political and take away the last thing that brings us together and President Donald Trump isn’t happy.
According to Breitbart, Major sports organizations such as the United States Soccer Federation and NFL are now considering rolling back on their initial decisions and will allow players to kneel in protest during the national anthem.
President Trump took to Twitter and boldly comment, “I won’t be watching much anymore!” on an article announcing that United States Soccer Federation will repeal a 2017 rule which blocked athletes from kneeling during America’s national anthem.
U.S. Soccer apologized to athletes and fans for enforcing their initial rule and said, “We have not done enough to listen — especially to our players — to understand and acknowledge the very real and meaningful experiences of Black and other minority communities in our country. We apologize to our players — especially our Black players — staff, fans, and all who support eradicating racism.”
President Trump then zeroed in on the NFL who will likely do the same after commissioner Roger Goodell apologized and said the NFL was “wrong” to not listen to players like Colin Kaepernick!
“It looks like the NFL is heading in that direction also, but not with me watching!” President Trump tweeted.
