President Biden has had a tough time leading the country from the moment he stepped into office. Many have speculated that Biden will not run again and that Democrats are expecting to replace him just before the 2024 election.
Now, it appears that Biden has called out former President Donald Trump and even suggested that he is prepared for another 2024 fights.
According to Fox, during his speech at the one-year anniversary of the Jan. 6th Capitol protest, Biden appeared to have called out Trump without actually saying his name.
“We must be absolutely clear about what is true and what is a lie. And here is the truth: The former president of the United States of America has created and spread a web of lies about the 2020 election,” Biden stated.
“He’s done so because he values power over principle, because he sees his own interests as more important than his country’s interests and America’s interests, and because his bruised ego matters more to him than our democracy or our Constitution,” Biden further stated.
He then accused Trump of not accepting the outcome of the 2020 election and said it was the first time any president has ever done so.
This appears to be the first time that President Biden has directly condemned Trump in this manner. Many political experts believe this was Biden’s first shot gearing up for the 2024 presidential rematch between the two and Biden could now be running for his re-election.
Currently, President Biden sits at the bottom of every major poll and things don’t look good. Biden must turn the direction of the country around if he wants to have a fighting chance in 2024 against Trump.
