Trump is going to wipe the floor with Biden!

In a departure from his past refusal to engage in debates with fellow Republican contenders, former President Donald Trump expressed a keen interest in immediately debating U.S. President Joe Biden.

During an appearance on a radio show hosted by conservative commentator Dan Bongino, Trump conveyed his desire for a debate, emphasizing the potential benefits for the country. “I’d like to debate him now because we should debate. We should debate for the good of the country,” remarked Trump.

While Trump is currently the frontrunner in the Republican race for the November 5 election challenge against Biden, he has yet to secure the nomination and has rejected calls from Republican rival Nikki Haley to engage in a debate.

Responding to Trump’s expressed interest in debating, Biden, a Democrat, commented during a trip to Las Vegas, stating, “If I were him, I would want to debate me, too. He’s got nothing to do.”

Trump’s eagerness to engage in a debate appears to be rooted in his anticipation of a potential election matchup with Biden, who recently secured a victory in the South Carolina Democratic primary and is poised to clinch the party’s nomination. Nikki Haley, a former South Carolina governor and UN ambassador under Trump, trails behind in the polls but remains committed to challenging Trump for the nomination.

It’s worth noting that Trump and Biden engaged in two debates during the 2020 race, with a third debate canceled due to Trump’s COVID-19 diagnosis and his refusal to participate in a virtual event, a departure from the traditional three-presidential-debate format.
