Is Biden a lazy president?
President Biden has just stated that he has “no direct plans” of visiting Saudi Arabia but he was open to meeting with Saudi leaders if a trip eventually came together.
According to Bloomberg, Biden told reports, “I have no direct plans at the moment. There is a possibility that I would be going to meet with both the Israelis and some Arab countries at the time, including, I expect, would be — Saudi Arabia would be included in that if I did go.”
When asked if Biden was open to speaking with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Biden replied, “We’re getting way ahead of ourselves here.”
Why is President Biden being so lazy when it comes to meeting other world leaders? Some Americans have found it to be a strange time for him to be hesitating.
Biden also threatened Saudi Arabia in 2019 by saying that he would, “make them pay the price, and make them, in fact, the pariah that they are.” It’s strange that President Biden is now scared to meet their crown prince.
